What is HGH-CTP?

Everyone knows about HGH – Human Growth Hormones. Body Building enthusiasts throughout the world have been getting themselves ingested with HGH. It has also been put to use for treatment of children who suffer from stunted growth. Along with these, many patients suffering from weight-loss induced by fairly untreatable diseases such as AIDS – have successfully shown positive effects after being injected with HGH.

Before explaining what HGH CTP is, allow us to give you an in-depth detailing of what HGH originally are.

Somatotroph cells located in the anterior pituitary glands release Human Growth Hormones (HGH) – which further goes on to kindle the liver into secreting Insulin Growth Factor – 1, more commonly known as IGF -1. This secretion happens the most during average human growth years and is primarily responsible for the growth that humans experience.

However, as we grow older, the level of HGH that our body produces is reduced sharply.  This is where artificially induced HGH comes into play.

So what is HGH CTP then?

Most users of HGH (Human Growth Hormones) often have to inject themselves with HGH every day. This is unnatural and more often than not, extremely tedious for the user.

The solution to this was found by Prolor Biotech Inc. – a company which is working on a CTP-modified kind of the regular HGH. The company calls this new variation – HGH-CTP and the data derived from the company’s research and clinical studies has shown that only two doses of HGH-CTP can potentially replace 30 (you read that correct) consecutive doses of the regular HGH currently available in the market.

In their preliminary lab experiments, their team had 12 patients of regular HGH switch to two injections of HGH-CTP rather than consecutively taking 30 injections over a period of 30 days. The dosage of HGH-CTP was only 15% or 50% of their regular collective HGH dosage. In order to gauge the efficiency of the dosage replacement, the team utilized the patients IGF-1 level, which is widely accepted biomarker utilized commonly for analyzing the efficiency of growth hormone therapies.

Prolor Biotech Inc. successfully concluded the Phase-II of their study in the year 2011 and subsequently released the results. These results have shown that HGH-CTP boasts of quite a thorough potential and there is no denying the possibility that HGH-CTP might become the standard replacement for conventional HGH products lacing the market.

Prolor Biotech has planned a third phase in HGH deficient adults and a second phase in children suffering from growth hormone deficiency in the year 2012

  • That was really insightful. I’ve heard about HGH-CTP previously from a friend amidst one of our conversations. The post cleared a lot of my doubt regarding the same. Thank you.

  • I have been a user of HGH for a long time now and the daily injections were starting to become a horror. If Prolor really does manage to launch something like this, it would be amazing.
